me as: very outgoing, pleasant, friendly and determined. Maybe a little bit of a perfectionist.

What were you doing before MCB/Monroe? Job searching. Trying to find a job to support myself, and I noticed a high demand for cosmetologists. So I decided to check it out.

Best thing about MCB/Monroe? The educational program and the wonderful instructors we have here

Where do you see yourself in 3 years?Hopefully I’ll be starting my own salon by then.

Advice for any person thinking about a career as a salon professional?
It’s a great trade to have. You will always find work in this field because hair never stops growing. I don’t think a computer could ever take my job away. As well, you can take this career as far as you want, working at a salon or for yourself. If you like beauty and enjoy working with people you should try it. Cosmetology training is only one year of your life. What’s there to lose? Nothing frankly, and you gain a life-long career.
